Tysons Ballroom is Garry Gekhman's ballroom dance studio. We run the website and the social media, and we are building the outreach for his plan to take the lesson model out into church and YMCA halls beyond the studio.
- 01How they came inThe site was not working hard enough and the studio was not showing up for searches like best ballroom dance classes. Content was raw footage rather than anything curated.
- 02Fixing the siteRebuilt the pages, dropped the outdated four week group class, sorted the mobile header, set up instructor logins, and tested Wix bookings against Square before deciding.
- 03Content every monthReels and carousels cut from studio footage, a day inside the studio, team and programme intros, and phone recorded student testimonials. Video over stills, because the room has to feel busy.
- 04The next ventureFor the 877-EZ-DANCE pilot we are building a simple site explaining the venue rental and instruction model, then emailing churches and YMCAs within a few hundred kilometres to test who is interested.
