Shamir: work by MarketinCrew

The client

Shamir

Shamir makes optical lenses and lens moulds, a business that sells through opticians rather than direct to the public. We run the social content, which has to do two jobs at once: name the lens products and give people a reason to care about their eyes.

  1. 01How they came inA technical product with a name most wearers never learn. Lenses get chosen at the counter, so the brand needed presence before the appointment, not during it.
  2. 02What we took onSocial content across two tracks: product posts that name specific lens ranges, and eye-health content that gives the feed something to say between launches.
  3. 03How it runsProduct posts use real people in everyday situations, reading a phone, working at a screen, so the benefit is legible without jargon. Health posts run on the same red and white brand palette so the two tracks still read as one account.
  4. 04Where it standsA feed that carries product names and general eye-care content in one consistent look.
The work

Campaigns and posters

Two content tracks in one look. Product posts put named lens ranges into ordinary moments, phones, screens, reading, while eye-health posts keep the feed useful between launches. Both run on the brand's red and white so the account holds together.

Nobody asks for a lens by name until they have heard the name somewhere that was not the optician's counter.

Inside the project

In the highly competitive optics industry, distinguishing your brand can be as challenging as crafting the perfect lens. Shamir Opticians, an esteemed optical lens company originally from Israel, partnered with us to enhance their online presence and engage a broader audience in the Indian market.

Questions

Asked about this work

What does MarketinCrew do for Shamir?

Social content and campaign creative, covering both named lens products and general eye-health material.

Why post eye-health content at all?

Because a lens brand cannot post product every week and stay watchable. The health track keeps the account alive between launches and reaches people before they visit an optician.

How technical is the copy?

Deliberately not. The posts name the product and describe the benefit in plain terms, and leave the specification to the optician.
