The client

Elixir

The Elixir archive is a production and talent feed. Music video frames, a singer at the microphone, location footage, and the lifestyle and countdown posts that run around a release.

  1. 01How they came inA production side business with plenty of footage moving through it and nothing built to release it in an order.
  2. 02What we took onThe campaign design around the film work. Countdowns, teaser frames, seasonal posts and the cut down stills that carry a release.
  3. 03How it runsMost pieces start as video, not artwork. Frames are pulled from the footage, a rough textured display type is dropped over them, and the same green and yellow treatment runs across the set so a countdown, a teaser and a seasonal post all read as one campaign.
  4. 04Where it standsSixteen campaign pieces and a photograph in the archive, with eight behind the scenes clips.
The work

Campaigns and posters

Sixteen pieces cut from the client's own footage. Music video frames, countdown posts and seasonal artwork, all sharing one rough textured display type and a green and yellow treatment so a release reads as a single run.

When the client shoots for a living, the campaign should be cut from their footage, not designed around it.

Questions

Asked about this work

What kind of content is in this archive?

Mostly video led work. Music video frames, talent clips, location footage and the countdown and seasonal posts built around a release.

Are the posts designed or edited?

Both. Frames are pulled from the footage first, then typeset, which keeps the campaign looking like the film it is promoting.

What holds the set together?

One display typeface and one colour treatment across every piece, so a countdown, a teaser and a seasonal post belong to the same run.
