Barbet & Pals: work by MarketinCrew
Barbet & Pals
Barbet & Pals is a bar with a 14-course cocktail tasting experience called Cavity. We built the site that sells it, wired up ticketing and gift cards, and now keep the booking system honest.
- 01How they came inBrent Gomes needed a site that could sell an experience, not just show a bar.
- 02Five pages, one job eachHome leading with the experience, the bar, a dedicated Cavity page that takes the booking, an about page for the founders and team, and contact and policies.
- 03Booking and paymentRazorpay for pre-booked Cavity seats, gift cards with a code at checkout, and the ground floor bar kept walk-in only so the two do not get confused. SMS notifications added alongside email.
- 04After launchReservations moved onto a new booking calendar. When the old link stayed live and caused double bookings, August was reconciled by hand against the offline sheets and the legacy pages were taken down.

Asked about this work
What is the difference between The Nest and Cavity?
The Nest is the main bar. Cavity is a smaller space inside it for curated tastings, chef and bartender collaborations, limited edition menus and workshops.
Can guests book through the site?
Yes. The experiences carry a reserve button, and reservations plus the reservation desk hours sit in the footer of every page.
Why does Cavity look nothing like the rest of the site?
Because it does not feel like the rest of the bar. The colour break is the point, and the copy says outright that nothing there is permanent.

Social media design
The site itself, in full and on device. Deep blue and white with a typewriter face for the main pages, the founders' story and the chef section running on cream and mustard, and Cavity switching to red and acid yellow with torn paper edges to make the point that it is a separate room.
