Onmato
Onmato is an all-day diner and bistro. The kitchen is dessert-forward and the calendar runs on seasons, from a Valentine's menu in February to a mango menu when the fruit lands.
- 01How they came inA menu that changes with the season and posting that did not. Specials were arriving on the pass before anyone had designed anything for them.
- 02What we took onCampaign design around each seasonal menu, plus the ongoing grid between them.
- 03How it runsEvery seasonal menu gets its own look rather than a recolour of the last one. Valentine's runs deep red with gold script. The mango menu runs on olive, paper texture and botanical illustration, with a Hindi and English pun in the headline.
- 04Where it standsCampaign artwork and dish posts shot on the restaurant's own plates and coasters, so the brand shows up in frame without a logo being pasted on.

Questions
Asked about this work
Why a new look for every season?
Because a recoloured template tells a regular nothing has changed. A new menu should look new.
Do you shoot the desserts?
Yes, plated by the kitchen and shot on the restaurant's own crockery and coasters.
How far ahead is seasonal work planned?
Far enough that the artwork is ready before the menu goes on, not after.
