Sudama

Sudama is the all veg restaurant at Krishna Palace Hotel. The menu runs from South Indian breakfast plates through to a global gourmet section, with seasonal drinks changing through the year.

  1. 01How they came inThe ask was menu and promotion design that could sit inside a hotel restaurant without looking like a takeaway flyer. Sudama is co-branded with Krishna Palace Hotel, so every piece had to carry both marks and still read cleanly.
  2. 02What we took onSeasonal menu cards and food content. The Summer Cooler card and the Gourmet Affairs card, plus photography of the everyday plates that carry the social feed between promotions.
  3. 03How it runsOne layout system, two moods. The drinks card goes light and coastal, the gourmet card goes warm and textured, and both keep the same type hierarchy so the dish name, the description and the price never fight each other. Prices are set in Rs. with the tax line spelled out at the bottom.
  4. 04Where it standsThe cards are built to be reprinted each season by swapping dishes into the same grid, so a new promotion does not need a new design from scratch.
The work

Social media design

Plated food shot straight down on wood, with the dish name set as a small serif and script lockup. Made for the feed, not for a poster.

A menu card is a sales document. It should be as easy to scan standing up as it is sitting down.

Questions

Asked about this work

What did MarketinCrew actually make for Sudama?

Seasonal menu and promotion cards, plus food photography and social artwork for the dishes on them.

Is the design co-branded?

Yes. Sudama sits inside Krishna Palace Hotel, so both marks appear on every card, sized so neither one swamps the other.

Can the cards be reused for the next season?

Yes. They are built on a fixed grid, so a new dish list drops into the same layout without a redesign.
