The Green Door
The Green Door is a restaurant serving across cuisines, from South Indian dosas and chutneys to pizza, pasta and a cocktail list. The dining room runs green and white, with arched windows and planting worked into the ceiling.
- 01How they came inA menu that crosses several cuisines in one room. Shot badly, that reads as confusion. Shot properly, it reads as choice.
- 02What we took onA full photography set, twenty six frames covering food, drinks and the room itself.
- 03How it runsEverything is shot in the restaurant on the restaurant's own crockery, so the green rimmed plates and banana leaf service tie a dosa and a pizza to the same table. Drinks are shot tall against the dark of the room, food is shot close and slightly above, and the interiors are shot wide so the dining room and the banquet layout can be used for enquiries.
